The device integrates basic connectivity (routing), remote maintenance (in combination with VPN Security Suite) and IoT gateway functionality with local computing capabilities to process data and run containers at the edge. Welotec IoT Edge Gateways are fully integrated with Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Edge support, making the devices a full-fledged Azure IoT Edge appliance. In addition to the industrial-grade computing platform, they feature a hardened Linux operating system, a secure TPM module, and a cloud-integrated container runtime. With their compact chassis, the Edge Gateways are designed for DIN-rail mounting and can be used in harsh environments.
