Certification & Compliance Manager (m/f/d) – Product Approval & Cyber Security

Your mission

Join our team and ensure the global market readiness of our high‑tech products!
As a Certification & Compliance Manager, you are responsible for the approval of our industrial and IoT products for the European and international markets. You support our hardware and software development teams from an early stage, ensure regulatory compliance, and significantly shape technical conformity — including the new requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

  • Certification Management: You plan, coordinate, and manage all national and international product approvals — including CE conformity (EMC, LVD, RoHS, RED), UL, and FCC certifications
  • Partner in the Development Process: You accompany the entire product development lifecycle, conduct Design‑for‑Compliance reviews, and translate standard requirements into clear technical specifications for the R&D team
  • Cybersecurity & CRA: You analyze the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act, derive necessary technical measures, and collaborate closely with hardware and software development on Security‑by‑Design concepts 
  • Radio & IoT Approvals: You ensure RED compliance and manage certification processes for radio and IoT products
  • Collaboration with Test Laboratories: You select external labs, coordinate testing activities, and oversee EMC, safety, and radio tests through to successful certification
  • Standards & Documentation: You establish active standards monitoring, maintain our certificates and documentation landscape, and ensure transparent and traceable fulfillment of regulatory requirements

Your profile

  • You hold a completed technical degree, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • You bring several years of experience in national and international certification of electronic or industrial products and are well‑versed in CE conformity (EMC, LVD, RoHS, RED) as well as UL and FCC approvals
  • You have in‑depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience in analyzing standards and translating them into clear technical guidelines for development teams
  • Initial experience with cybersecurity requirements as part of product compliance rounds off your profile.
  • You have experience managing external test laboratories and supporting EMC, safety, and radio testing through to successful certification
  • You work in a structured, precise, and process‑oriented manner. You maintain oversight even when facing complex regulatory requirements and ensure audit‑proof documentation
  • You communicate confidently in German and English and work effectively with development teams, test laboratories, authorities, suppliers, and customers
