Thomas has a background in electrical engineering and information technology and joined MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller in 2016. There, as Team Leader IoT Infrastructure, he was responsible for several years for the development and alignment of the IoT strategy as well as software development in the cloud backend and edge environment. Thomas joined GEA Group in 2022. As Senior Software Architect IoT, he is heavily involved in the cloud and IoT strategy and is responsible for the development of the IoT cloud and edge platform as well as the definition of the cloud and data architecture. Thomas is also an active contributor to many open source projects and a frequent speaker in the IoT space.
