Jeorge leads Welotec's operation in the United States focusing on the energy transition through substation automation and digitalization with our customers in the US and Canada.  

He has held positions in various functions throughout his 30-year career including design engineering, product management, technical sales, application engineering, and business development.  He has worked in the energy sector for more than 15 years providing products and expertise to utilities and OEM suppliers in the industry for various parts of the electrical grid including SCADA, Distribution
Automation, AMI/AMR, Field Area Networks and more.   

Jeorge studied electronics engineering technology and earned degrees in Engineering Science, Technical Management, and an MBA in Business Intelligence and DataAnalytics Management.

Dr. FredSteinhauser is a renowned expert in the field of electrical power engineering, focusing in particular on the digitalization of substations and the
standardization of communication technologies in the energy sector. After
studying electrical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, where
he received his diploma in 1986 and his doctorate in technical sciences in
1991, he joined OMICRON. Here he specialized in various aspects of testing
protection systems in the energy supply and has been working as a product
manager with a focus on communication technologies for energy suppliers since
2000.

His commitment and expertise have made him a valued member of professional circles. Steinhauser is actively involved in OMICRON's Power Utility Communication business, with a focus on digital substations, and serves as an expert on the IEC 61850 standard. He is a member of Working Group 10 in Technical Committee 57 of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and contributes to the IEC 61850 standard, a key standard for communication in electrical substations. Dr. Steinhauser is considered one of the main authors of this standard and has thus made a significant contribution to the further development and standardization of communication technologies in the field of electrical power supply.

Jos Zenner ist Chief Technology Officer bei der Welotec GmbH und Mitglied des Lenkungsausschusses der vPAC Alliance. Er ist spezialisiert auf die Leitung des Produktmanagements und der Forschung und Entwicklung im Bereich Digitalisierung, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf dem Stromnetz und digitalen Umspannwerken. In seiner Arbeit nutzt er Technologien, um die Energiewende zu beschleunigen. Als Vordenker mit tiefgreifendem Marktverständnis steht Jos Zenner an der Spitze der Innovation in diesem Bereich.
